Cultural Heritage Festival

Cultural Heritage Festival

Bishkek, October 24, 2024 - Kyrgyzstan is preparing to host its first international cultural heritage festival, which will take place next month in the country's capital. The festival will bring together folk artists, musicians, and dancers from all corners of Kyrgyzstan and neighboring countries.

At the festival, guests will be able to learn about traditional crafts such as carpet weaving, jewelry making, and wood carving. Master classes are also planned, where anyone can try their hand at these arts. In the evening, there will be concerts featuring folk ensembles that will showcase the region's rich musical heritage.

In addition, the festival plans to organize a fair featuring local products and dishes. Tourists will be able to sample Kyrgyz delicacies such as beshbarmak, kuurdak, and ayran, as well as purchase unique souvenirs.

This festival will not only provide an opportunity to delve deeper into the culture of Kyrgyzstan, but will also serve as an excellent platform for the exchange of experiences between artisans and tourists from around the world.
